Inspired by our tiny, but blooming city garden, filled with pollinator friendly flowers, we have designed a new collection of hand embroidered basket bags.
The Forget-Me-Not has to be one of our favourite flowers with it’s dainty sky blue florets. In Victorian times these sweet blue blooms were exchanged as a symbol of devoted and faithful love. The botanical name, Myosotis, from the Greek meaning mouse’s ear, refers to the shape and hairy surface of the leaves.
Our original illustration has been embroidered onto our popular palm leaf market basket by the skilful hand of women artisans in Morocco. A sustainable and eco-friendly handwoven tote basket, this design is the perfect size for shopping trips, picnics and summer days at the beach.
A combination of the time-honoured, traditional techniques of weaving and embroidery make these floral woven baskets a true celebration of slow craft.
Please note | Our palm leaf baskets are handwoven in the round and feature a 'step' on the rim where they are tied and finished. This is intentional and not a flaw, but rather a part of the design.

All Born of Botanics fragrance products (from candles to essential oils) are hand-poured in our workshop in York.
What is your returns policy?
- Online orders can be returned if in a resalable condition (including any packaging) and returned to us within 14 days of you receiving the item. The address to return items to can be found at the bottom of this pages.
- Items must be unused, and in their original undamaged packaging.
- We will refund you for the product within 14 days.
- We cannot provide refunds for shipping costs.
