Born of Botanics isn’t just our brand, it's in everything we do. Our approach to sustainability is no exception. We try to curate our products in the most eco-conscious way we can - whether that’s in our materials, suppliers, or packaging, we want to ensure you can enjoy burning your candle knowing you’re caring for the planet too.

Waxes
Our candles are made from 100% natural waxes: soy, coconut, and beeswax.
Soy wax is an all-natural, renewable, and biodegradable material, free from petroleum and other nasties which allow for a lovely slow and even burn, with no negative impact on you or the environment. Soy wax is also safe to dispose of once you reach the bottom of your candle - simply wash with dish soap and warm water to leave your jar ready to be recycled or repurposed.

Wicks
We opt for natural, nontoxic linen and cotton wicks which contribute to a nice clean burn. We also avoid using metal core wicks, which means once your candle is empty you don’t have to worry about disposing of the wick.

Fragrance Oils
Our scents are all derived from essential oils, plant-derived materials and extracts

Packaging
Our Core Collection & Memories Collection are poured in glass jars that are fully recyclable. All our external packaging is paper/cardboard based, so can go straight into the paper recycling when you no longer need it.
