10:00 – 10:30 | Welcome & Introductions
Begin your day with a warm welcome and a cup of tea or coffee, as you gently settle into the tranquil pace of the retreat. -
10:30 – 12:00 | The Beauty of Change Yoga Session
A soft and flowing yoga practice, complemented by breathwork and a deeply restorative savasana. Let the gentle resonance of singing bowls guide you into a state of calm and inner stillness.Please note : The yoga, breath work and meditation session is suitable for all levels of experience. Please let us know ahead of time if you have any mobility concerns or injuries that we can help accommodate.

12:00 – 12:45 | Make your own wax hanging decorations. Decorate with seasonal flowers and blend your own scent to enjoy at home.

12:45 – 13:45 | Nourishing Lunch & Free Time
Savour a light, wholesome lunch and enjoy time to wander through the beautiful grounds or simply relax and reflect. -
13:45 – 15:45 | Wreath Decoration Workshop
Join local florist Hannah to create your own seasonal autumnal wreath — a creative and mindful activity. -
14:45 – 15:15 | Afternoon Refreshments
Pause for tea and light refreshments, taking time to relax and recharge. - 15:15 – 15:45 | De mould your Wax decorations ready for home and finish off with ribbon ties .
- 15:45 – 17:00 | Decorate Your Own Ghost . Lyccander our own friendly ghost will burn bright into the darker months, brighten him up with your own customisation. All paints and decorations included.

With expert guidance and warm support at every step, you’ll leave feeling deeply relaxed and rejuvenated, taking home your handcrafted candle, personalised hanging decorations and Autumnal Wreath.

OVERNIGHT STAY
Hornington Manor offers you the chance to extend your experience by booking into one of their on site shepherds huts.
Nestled in the working farm grounds of Hornington Manor is a collection of eight cosy Shepherd Huts. A stark transition from the rumbling wagons of the past that once rolled through the fields of Yorkshire, this luxurious accommodation makes for the perfect private stay. Where are your candles made?
All Born of Botanics fragrance products (from candles to essential oils) are hand-poured in our workshop in York.
What is your returns policy?
- Online orders can be returned if in a resalable condition (including any packaging) and returned to us within 14 days of you receiving the item. The address to return items to can be found at the bottom of this pages.
- Items must be unused, and in their original undamaged packaging.
- We will refund you for the product within 14 days.
- We cannot provide refunds for shipping costs.
