Join us and discover the art of candle making upstairs at 21 Kirkgate Tadcaster . Hosted by our in house Chandler this two hour intimate workshop will provide a wealth of knowledge on the ancient art of candle-making, fragrance, candle care and your own hand made candle..

The hands on 2 hour workshop includes:

  • Introduction to Candle making and the different types of candle.
  • Overview of the different waxes, wicks, dyes, fragrance and techniques.
  • An introduction to fragrance, learning about their top, middle and base notes, fragrance families and how different scents affect your mood.
  • Using our own blend of wax you will , melt wax, add dyes, wicks and fragrance to make a scented container candle, and a moulded pillar candle or wax melts. 
  • While your creations are setting enjoy a slice of cake and a drink.
  • Start time 2pm 

 

This is the perfect chance to chat all things waxy with our chandler. Perfect to enjoy with your friends or family, or if you are simply looking to learn a new skill. The minimum age for the beginner workshop is 18 due to the equipment used and Alchohol served .

 

Cancellation Policy

A minimum of 7 days notice must be provided to change or cancel workshop bookings. Workshop bookings cancelled less than 7 days in advance are non-refundable.. Private Parties can be rebooked if changes are required up to 7 days in advance  but cancellation than 7 days in advance will be payable in full. The full balance is payable on booking.
