Looking for a fun and creative activity during the school holidays?
Join us upstairs at Born of Botanics for a relaxed candle making workshop where children can create their very own natural wax candle to take home.
Each child will learn the basics of candle making before choosing their favourite fragrance, selecting colours and pouring their own candle into a choice of moulded shapes Once the candle has been poured, they’ll finish their creation by designing a personalised label ready for collection once the candle has fully cured.
This hands-on workshop is designed to encourage creativity and introduce children to the wonderful world of fragrance in a safe and welcoming environment.

Important information
- Suitable for children aged 8 years and over
- All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult throughout the workshop.
- Workshops last approximately 90 minutes.
- Candles require time to fully set and will need to be collected later the same day or the following day.
- All materials are included.
- Places are limited to ensure everyone receives plenty of individual guidance.

Where are your candles made?
All Born of Botanics fragrance products (from candles to essential oils) are hand-poured in our workshop in York.
What is your returns policy?
- Online orders can be returned if in a resalable condition (including any packaging) and returned to us within 14 days of you receiving the item. The address to return items to can be found at the bottom of this pages.
- Items must be unused, and in their original undamaged packaging.
- We will refund you for the product within 14 days.
- We cannot provide refunds for shipping costs.
